About Tiberius Walter

Tiberius Walter is an artist from Düsseldorf, Germany who has been exploring shapes and colors since childhood.

While most of his friends spent their time on the soccer field during his childhood and teenage years, Tiberius began to develop a passion for letters in the form of graffiti at the age of 11. In addition to this fascination, which has accompanied him ever since and serves as a major inspiration for his art, he took drawing lessons from Jochen Duckwitz, a master student of Joseph Beuys.

Particularly formative for Tiberius’s artistic career and his current works was his time in high school, when he was taught in the advanced art course by Düsseldorf artist Christoph Wedding. It was during this time that he created his first abstract works, which continue to shape his style.

Today, Tiberius lives in Berlin, where he has been deeply immersed in his art for some time and describes his current works as merely a beginning.

He himself sees his works as a mirror of his personality and a map charting his path through life.
